2. Scope of this policy

This policy explains which personal data are processed when you visit alphacore.art and contact us via this website. alphacore.art is a presentation and contact site for software development services. There is no online shop, no user accounts and no collection of payment data on the site.

3. Website access and server logs

When you access the website, data are automatically sent to the server and stored in log files, including IP address, date/time, requested URL, transfer volume/status, browser/OS and optionally the referrer.

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (secure and reliable operation). Data are not combined with other sources.

Retention: typically 14 days, then automatic deletion, unless longer storage is needed to investigate abuse.

4. Hosting

The website runs on a rented server (VPS). The host processes technical connection data on our behalf under Art. 28 GDPR. Name and address of the provider are available on request.

5. CDN and security services

Cloudflare may be used for delivery and attack mitigation (Cloudflare Germany GmbH / Cloudflare, Inc., USA). Traffic may be routed via Cloudflare servers; technical data including IP addresses are processed. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Transfers to the USA may rely on SCCs and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

6. Fonts and external resources

Fonts may be loaded via Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited). A connection to Google servers may transfer your IP address. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (consistent presentation).

7. Contact

If you contact us by email or form, we process the data you provide (in particular name, email and message) to handle your request. Legal bases: Art. 6 (1) (b) and/or (f) GDPR. Retention: until the request is closed, subject to statutory retention where a business relationship arises (typically 6–10 years).

8. Email

Email may be handled via our own mail server or a contracted provider. Unencrypted email can be read by third parties in transit.

9. Cookies and local storage

Necessary: language preference and cookie consent storage — § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG / Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Optional: non-essential tools (e.g. analytics) only after consent — § 25 (1) TDDDG / Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You may withdraw consent via the footer cookie settings.

10. Analytics

With your consent we may use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited). Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. Transfers to Google LLC in the USA may occur under SCCs / Data Privacy Framework. Without consent, no behavioural analytics run.

11. YouTube videos

On /video/ we embed a video via YouTube (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The player loads only after you click play. Until then only a poster image from our server is shown; no connection to YouTube is made.

After the click, a connection to YouTube is established (youtube-nocookie.com). Personal data — in particular your IP address — may be sent to Google and cookies may be set. Transfers to the USA may occur under SCCs and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

Legal basis is your consent by clicking the player (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, § 25 (1) TDDDG). You can also watch the video on YouTube without loading the player here: youtube.com/watch?v=vNqS2MsioGE.

12. Recipients

Data are shared only as needed to provide services or as required by law, with processors under Art. 28 GDPR where applicable. Data are not sold.

13. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and withdrawal of consent. You may object under Art. 21 GDPR where processing is based on legitimate interests. Contact: info@alphacore.art.

You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For us this is typically the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.

14. Changes

We update this policy when the law or services on the site change. The version published here applies.
